28th Annual VCTM Conference

Fabulous VCTM Math Conference Set for March 10 – 11, 2006 at Virginia Tech in the Beautiful Mountains of Virginia – Make plans now to attend and possibly do a presentation.

The 28th Annual VCTM Math Conference will be held on the wonderful Virginia Tech Campus on March 10th and 11th of 2006.  This year the conference theme will be “Reaching New Heights in Teaching Mathematics.”  Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.  You may want to consider doing a presentation.  Check the vctm.org website in August to download a registration form and a presenter’s form.  No registrations will be done on-line this year but you can print out the form and mail it along with the registration fee to the contact person listed on the form.  You can also print out the presenter application and mail it to the contact person listed on the form.  We will be using 3 buildings that are close together.  The 2 buildings with the classrooms are directly across the street from one another.  The other building will have the registration booth, the vendors and the hospitality room.  It is close to the other 2 buildings.  Hotels have been booked for both Thursday and Friday nights.  All of the hotel information will be on the website.  Reservations must be made directly with the hotel.  Once the registration deadline cut-off has been reached, rooms will only be available at the conference rates if they have not been taken by the general public.  Be sure to register by the deadline to assure a room at the preferred rates.
