Mathematics Leadership Teams Partnering to Raise the Bar for Mathematics Instruction

Two Days: October 17 and December 5

Explore how a growth mindset linked with high quality instruction helps students in developing mathematical reasoning, making connections, mathematical representations, communication, and problem solving. Analyze the characteristics of cognitively demanding tasks. Examine the role of instructional leaders in transforming student learning by exploring the developmental stages of mathematics leadership (articulating and implementing the curriculum, incorporating effective instructional strategies, providing timely and targeted feedback, establishing professional learning communities and fostering professional development).

Registration is by individual  ($300/participant), by a 2-person team ($500/team) to consist of the building principal and a mathematics teacher leader, or by a 3-person team ($750/team).

Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided each day.   Lodging is the responsibility of the participants.


IF YOU ARE USING A PURCHASE ORDER:  First continue the registration process indicating the purchase order number.  Then email a copy of the PO to vctmath@gmail.com and print out a copy of the invoice to submit to your division for payment BEFORE the workshop begins.
