Vendor Information

Dear Vendor,

Click here for the registration form for the 29^th Annual Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference.  The conference will be March 9 – 10, 2007 at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center located at 2800 Shore Drive in Virginia Beach, Va.  For the first time in many years, all sessions, meals and vendor displays will be in the same building.  I anticipate more traffic flow in between sessions and through out the day.  We have a special conference rate of $89 per night.  All rooms are suites with views of the Chesapeake Bay.  We have reserved a small block of rooms for people that would like to arrive the evening of March 8^th and set up their displays.  The exhibit room will be open from 3pm to 8pm on March 8.   Please call the Resort directly, 757-481-9000, to book rooms and mention the conference to receive the conference rate. 

Vendors will be in the Chesapeake Room which will limit space to the first 50 vendors that return the registration form.  After that point, I will generate a wait list and try to accommodate others.  The deadline for registration is February 15, 2007.  Because of space, I am limiting the number of tables to one for the fee listed $400 unless your company has less than 4 employees in which case it will be $200.  If you would like more than one table, I will wait list that request and honor it if all 50 spots have not been filled by the registration deadline.  Please do not pay for two tables when you register.  If I am able to give a second table, we will collect the fee after February 15,, 2007.  There is limited internet access available in the Chesapeake room and is available on a first come first served basis at an additional cost of $50 per day.  If you are only interested in internet access to check email and it is not part of your display, you can access the internet in your room for a charge of $10 per day.  Please do not request internet access at your booth unless it is necessary for your presentation.

Vendors that would like to present in a session may download that form at www.vctm.org and send it directly to the program chair.  I do not handle speaker requests, but vendors are always welcome to be speakers.Many vendors mentioned the desire to host a social event, such as a wine and cheese reception, after the keynote on Friday, March 9^th.  If you would like to sponsor such an event, please indicate this on the registration form.  You may include the monetary donation with your registration fee or in separate payment.  We would advertise your sponsorship in our program, at the reception and at your booth.  If you would like to sponsor the refreshments in the hospitality room, it is large enough that you could use a small table in that room to exhibit information about your company and direct participants to your booth in the Chesapeake room.   Please indicate what sponsorship opportunities you would like to pursue on the registration form and I will confirm your sponsorship and registration via email.
